What is CBD?

Natural. Safe. Non-Addictive. Non-Psychoactive.

CBD is an abbreviation for cannabidiol and is the second most prevalent of the active ingredients found in cannabis plants. CBD is derived directly from industrial hemp plants - a non-psychoactive cousin of the marijuana plant - that is not marijuana. CBD by itself it does not cause users to feel “high.” According to a report from the World Health Organization, “In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential…to date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.”

Hemp vs Marijuana

ONatural CBD is manufactured from organically grown industrial hemp.

ONatural CBD is manufactured from responsibly grown organic European industrial hemp and does not contain Marijuana. CBD by itself will not cause you to feel “high” and does not contain the psychoactive properties commonly found in Marijuana.

Endocannabinoid System

"Perhaps the most important physiologic system involved in establishing and maintaining human health"

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is perhaps the most important physiologic system involved in establishing and maintaining human health. Endocannabinoids and their receptors are found in the brain, organs, connective tissues, glands, and immune cells. Cannabinoids, like those contained in ONatural CBD products, promote homeostasis/balance at every level of biological life. Research has linked the ECS to metabolism, chronic pain, inflammation and other immune system responses, mood, learning and memory, motor control, sleep, cardiovascular system function, muscle formation, bone remodeling and growth, liver function, reproductive system function, stress and skin and nerve function.

Full Spectrum vs Broad Spectrum CBD

Choose the right products for your needs.

Full Spectrum CBD refers to a CBD-rich product that contains the full profile of organic compounds (cannabinoids, terpenes, etc.) that can be found in the hemp plant including THC. ONatural CBD products are tested to independently verify that they contain 0.3% or less THC at the time of bottling. Research indicates that Full Spectrum may promote an entourage effect and have greater effectiveness.

Broad-spectrum CBD is full-spectrum CBD minus the THC. ONatrual Broad Spectrum CBD comes from removing THC from a full-spectrum extract, so what remains is a CBD-rich formulation that contains a wide array of cannabinoids, terpenes, and other organic compounds. People sensitive to THC or concerned about drug testing will still receive substantial benefit from a Broad-Spectrum product.
